When we purchased our Eriba 555GT it came with a very tall and heavy gas cylinder. This is far too heavy and bulky for Beryl to even lift off the floor even when empty. Our favourite gas cylinder is square and plastic with handles which are easy to lift. The problem now are the connections. The existing flexible gas pipe is connected to a control valve mounted on the bulkhead. Inserting the plastic square cylinder complete with its snap on regulator/adapter is impossible. Do I need to keep the contol valve or do I bin it? We would appreciate any help with this problem. Thank you Dafydd and Beryl

Dafydd, can you drill out the pop rivets that hold the bottle in place. Re-fixing the straps a little over to the side might give you the space you need. I had to do this to get a larger diameter BP GasLight bottle in previous van.

Thank you Colin, but maybe we did not explain our problem well enough. What we would like to know is how we can adapt the current gas pipes etc to receive the snap on square gas Propane bottle. Thank you once again Dafydd and Beryl
