Fridge not working well on gas

Hi all,
A question for the collective knowledge,

My Dometic fridge in my 2009 Puck does not seem to do well on gas at all. Although it ignites and I can see the flame the fridge seems to not work at all in cooling or staying cool when off grid. I get the ambient temperature bit but even when i turn the dial to full the flame doesn’t even seem to grow. Do i just need to clean out the gas lines and nozzle perhaps and if so how do I go about it??

All ideas and experience gratefully received…

It sounds like the gas jet may be partially blocked. On my 2007 Triton it is possible to get at the burner assembly through the lower exterior grill.
On my fridge there are just 3 settings, low, medium and high>

Just to confirm that you are adjusting the gas setting with the correct knob, not the electric regulator?

Hi Ray,
Thanks for the response, yes I am using the gas control and not the electric. This is my 4th Eriba so I’m familiar but this is the first time the fridge has not been excellent. I will try getting to it from the lower grill. Mines only has the 3 settings too.

Which gas are you using?
Butane could be dodgy in this cold weather.

Using propane Ray,
Not sure if its not just a partially blocked gas nozzle… plan to check it out when the weather permits

More likely to be carbon deposits around the burner and up the "chimney"
