1978 triton 12v system wiring help

Does anyone have any details of how the 12v system is wired on a '78 Triton ?
The wiring to the light is there. I'm assuming its to the fridge also (will confirm when the van is out of hibernation) but wondering where/how a leisure battery would normally be fitted as there is not one currently

Thanks in advance !

Our 1998 Triton didn't have a leisure battery. We now have one in the front under seat locker for the mover.

OK thanks - just wondering where I can 'tap in' to the 12V system to apply the battery?

Hi Manzo. I don't know if this is any good for you? Admittedly it's for a campervan so not a towed vehicle but I found it to be a good video.

As far as where the battery should be positioned in a Triton, they are normally fitted under the rear benchseat/bed on the non door side next to the EHU plug.

Yes - thanks for that. Just wondering where I can physically find a part of the 12V wiring system to tap in to . The van's wrapped up at present. I guess I'll have to have a dig around once it's uncovered
