Hi All,

Just wondering if any of you have advice on a sun canopy for a 540 Touring Troll? I have a Kampa 365 Pop Air Awning and am very happy with it for long stays, but would love a sun canopy for shorter stays (1 to 2 days) and one that is erected easily and quickly. The type I'm looking for is pictured on the web page extreme left photo. Dometic Kampa have a Pop air Sun Canopy model, but the dealer I spoke to didn't know if it would suit an Eriba 540! All advice appreciate.

Welcome Brax. Just as Morphy has directed you, the Isabella Shadow is the default setting. The 3.0m is the usual choice but you can adapt the 3.6m.
Other manufacturers offer similar but they do not really match the quality of the Isabella. Keep an eye out on Gumtree or Facebook Marketplace and you should be able to pick up a very good 2nd hand one at a sensible price.

Hi Brax, I also have the Isabella shadow. Which is very good and quick to put up. However ! It’s just 2m deep, and when the rain comes it can collect it.

I have been looking at getting the Isabella Loggia. It will fit your 540 nicely. The main attractions with this canopy for me its that its 2.7m deep and has a centre ridge pole which keeps the centre raised and therefore prevents rain water from pooling.

hi Brax

Like many other Troll owners we have the 3m Isabella. It comes with two poles but has a ready made hole for a third. A lot of us have bought an adjustable aluminium pole and put it in this extra hole so you can put a sort of ridge in the middle and avoid the worst of the water pooling problem in heavy rain.

The Logia that Murphy has bought does sound interesting

Good luck

Depending on the pitch if rain is blowing in from the side we put up a windbreak on that side
