Hello!
I need a clarification for the electric net of the 81 Pan, it seems a bit different to the schematic present on the brochures I found here on the forum. The new was definitely not modified, I crawled under it to identify the cables and everything looks stock, the original sealer still in place around the cable where they enter the caravan.
My issue is as follows: the 12V net has only one input, one wire coming from the car plug (actually it just hangs near the 7 pin plug). The +12V wire (and a GND) goes to a box under the caravan, where it splits to the rear light, front light and fridge. There is not other cable going inside the cabin, for example to a battery or to the sink. Also, it would mean I have 12V in the caravan only when it is connected to the car.
Is this how it's supposed to be?
How is the sink supposed to work without a power supply?
The previous owner added a gel battery and solar panel with controller, but it works as an independent circuit, with two additional lights and powering the pump for the sink.
Also, there looks to be a 220V/12V converter inside (Elektromatic KA25), with two outputs, battery and loads. But it is also not connected to anything.
I would like to make some changes, to connect the additional battery to the original wiring loom, so I can have power inside also when it is not connected to the car. Also, I would like to pass everything through a fuse box. I will try to make a diagram next days, because I need a switch to turn off the battery when power comes from the car.
