Unico Verona or Bologna?

As per the title really. We’re coming back to Eriba after having a few years with a Globecar 6m panel van conversion. We mainly use a wind out awning at the moment with lillypad leisure windblockers on it but note that lillypad are no longer manufacturing. We’ve decided to get an new awning/ canopy for the new Troll that can be typically used for 4-7 days most of the time as a canopy but with the facility to hunker down in bad weather. Does anyone have experience of either? If we bought the Verona we’d also get the front panel and we’ve heard that the sides can be unzipped but don’t see that in the brochure. The Bologna will obviously be excellent but how would it be if only used as a canopy 60% of the time. I’ve also read that they are quite different sizes?

We have the Verona which came with our Pontos and it it great as it can be used as a canopy or zip sides and front on if you are in this country 😂

Some pics of our Bologna.
In my opinion it feels heavier and a little roomier than the Verona but they are both excellent and weather proof awnings.
Ours has been subject to some very strong winds and stood up well.
There is an extra porch piece available but makes the whole assembly a bit big for some pitches.

That’s good to hear. They both appear to be excellent. I just can’t decide

The Verona is for the younger camper who is looking for a unique awning to compliment the Eriba. The front can be rolled up in minutes where the Bologna's front has to be totally unzipped. We purchase our Eriba to fit our Verona, a subtle difference.Save £500 and get the Verona.
