Have any Eribafolk towed through France or Spain recently? We are looking at doing the Portsmouth-Santander crossing, spending a few days in northern Spain, then slowly touring back through France. We are old hands at French Touring but haven't been to the continent since lock-down so any tips or updates on Covid or Brexit related issues would be greatly appreciated.
I have an inkling that a second green card is needed to tow a van through the EU now but any info may be helpful.

Ah you will be able to travel on the new ship Salamanca. BF is very excited about it!

A small group of Eribas travelled out to Santander on Galicia in February. We were required to show proof of vaccination and filled out passenger location form. It was all seamless but a little slow.
Whilst there the passenger locator form requirement was dropped.
The new ship was quite a change from Cap Finisterre and I believe Salamanca is basically it’s sister but runs on lpg not diesel. This will be an improvement as there were areas of Galicia that had very heavy fuel oil smell.
Evening meal is included in the ticket now which was a generally well received but the allocated sitting times made for long queues.
We all paid a supplement to use the lounge upgrade which was hugely enjoyed as it included food and drinks. Yes wine all day!!!



We have since just made the crossing from Portsmouth to St Malo. Only requirement was the vaccination proof.
Green card(s) are currently not required according to the Gov web site.
