Inspecta_Gadget - yes I have pictures, I will try to post them
Old Rocker - NO we didn't pre order, managed to find one that meet our requirements (or so we thought!) in stock

Hi Andrew
I have the same additional pump fitted to my 2018 Triton and don't get the siphoning effect you describe, so I've been lucky in that regard. I can't see a non-return valve (see attached pic) but maybe its fitted elsewhere in the system.
For sealing the aquaroll, I bought something called a W4 aqua cap (can't post a link yet, as a newish member)
Its kind of ok, but I now need to buy a large hoseclip to ensure its attached to the aquaroll securely
TBH, its a minor faff to set it up and although its nice to know we have the option of larger reserves of water on a longer stay, I'm wondering if its easier just refilling the onboard tank more frequently. I guess I'll find out what works best as I go along (we're only out on our first week, so still on a voyage of discovery!)

Hi Andrew,
I've read with interest your comments and all the related replies. Although this was over a couple of years ago I wonder did you solve your problem and use the Aquaroll as it was probably intended.
I bought my 530 new last year from Leisurefirst. Like you this came with the side fitting electrical and water connector and a pump and hose etc.
Our first trip away I just filled the internal tank from a 10ltr container which was not big problem. I then thought I would try the Aquaroll option so purchased one and tried it initially at home to work things out as there were no instructions and like you I was told by the dealer that you just use the connector to top up the onboard tank. (they obviously had never used this).
I do not have the siphoning problems and my plumbing appears to have two non return valves (NRV) fitted from new.
However, on first attempt to use, only the onboard tank functioned no matter what position the outside '0' - '1' switch was in. Further investigation revealed wiring connectors under the front seat adjacent to the onboard tank, with two unconnected plug socket ends hanging loose. This meant there was no supply going to the outside connector/switch. It is possible/necessary to disconnect the plug socket that connected the onboard tank pump and then cross connect them to the adjacent loose plug and socket. This now provides the supply to the outside connector and switch. However!!
* with the outside switch in position '0' when any one of the basin taps is opened the outside pump operates and pumps water through the outside connector into the van plumbing, BUT with much weaker pressure that is non acceptable.
* with the outside switch at position '1' when either of the basin taps is opened then both pumps operate and pumps water to the open tap or taps at a 'normal' pressure.
Now my problems!! in position '0' the pressure is low and the tap output is pretty useless compared to normal operation using the onboard pump only without aqua roll set up. Has anyone experienced this and upgraded their outside pump?
In Position '1' both pumps operate and there is a a normal good pressure but the onboard pump seems to take priority and empties the onboard tank without appearing to use the Aquaroll. I don't want to leave this running to see if the .aquaroll empties next as I imagine the onboard pump will be running dry!!
Has anyone experienced this and rewired? Or upgraded the external pump to a higher rating. I was thinking of a Whale 1652 submersible pump.
Any thoughts and comments would be grateful.
Ian

HI
I'm answering my own question here having returned from France and checked out the internal and external workings of the water supply.
In simple, tests showed that the Hymer/ Leisurefirst provided external pump to place in say an Aquaroll was simply wired incorrectly e.g. positive and negative reversed. A simple test with a 12v battery two wires with spade connectors and a bucket of water. The difference in water pressure when the pump is wired correctly and rotating in the correct direction is quite significant.
So for my van now with Aquaroll and pump and hose connector connected to the external fitting on the van the switch should be in position '0'. with this selected water feeds solely from the Aquaroll. The internal pump is idle.
Disconnect the Aquaroll hose and electrics and put the external switch to position'1' and the internal tank and pump now feed the taps when operated.
Warning!! if you have the external switch set to position '1' and the external pump and hose connected then both pumps will operate when a tap is opened. This may appear to be OK but if either tank is empty or runs out of water then the pump will run dry with the usual consequences.
Although this is manageable I feel this is a bit of a design error and I will look at addressing this maybe with a relay or simple switch.
any comments are welcome and I recognise all of our Eribas have odd variances and quirks.
Ian

Hi Colin thanks for your comments,
I think you are probably right, maybe LF did the fit and provided a third party pump, hose and wiring. Im sure lf it was Hymer had supplied it would have been a Reich pump not a Comet one. And again you are correct the wiring should have been +ve blue and -ve brown but was the opposite,
So all is well now and I'm pleased I didnt .have to buy another more powerful pump. ! will look though at having a fail safe system to stop 2 pumps running together with the risk of one running dry
