We've just purchased a troll 540 which has some oxidation on the front gas locker and silver panels.
Is there a link on here on the best way to remedy please? Or should I take it to a body repair garage?
I was thinking Autosol but I'm not sure it'll take the laquer off.

You'll have to chemically remove the lacquer, before repolishing (autosol or similar), then relacquer...
