We’re off to the auvernge on Saturday and staying for 10 days in two pitches - do we take the kampa air or the walker touring, there are four of use so we need shade and shelter from those thunderstorms. Will my kampa air burst in the sun?

Well, it's going to be hot but not the screaming 40°c we were getting during the heatwave. Look here. https://meteofrance.com/previsions-meteo...-rhone-alpes/10 Are you going to Salers? One of my favourite places.

I'm guessing you will be using it as a canopy and not an awning for most of the time, so I would go with the largest coverage, which I suspect is the Walker.
If it was just the two of you I would not bother taking an awning, just a large canopy.
