Aaaagh - repairs
Well having picked our new van up a fortnight ago I have managed to put a nasty dent in it. I obviously hadn't engaged the mover tight enough and after moving out of the flat of our garage onto our steep drive the van ran away down the slope into a telegraph pole.
Does anyone know of a repairer who would take the job on? Everyone around here has sucked their teeth and said no thanks it's an Eriba
Even a specialist car repairer declined it
Here's hoping it's not a trip down to Poole again!

Given that Lowdhams are Hymer appointed Touring range dealers they should be able to do something. And as your profile says you're in Nottingham they're in easy reach. There again their reputation is generally poor. It looks as if you may have bent the steel frame under the aluminium skin and that will mean a complex and expensive repair if you find anyone willing to take it on. Another case where a chat with Dom Fox may assist.

I can only add that I'm sorry. Ouch!

I don't think that would be too tricky for a decent body shop. A couple of years ago, my Familia was hit by a car and the rear RHS was caved in. The frame wasn't bent, but the bodywork and light cluster were wrecked. The first body shop I went to took it on no problem and done a great job, even though the aluminium is ridiculously thin. All in, with the new rear lights and plastic mount trim thing was around the £1600 mark if I remember, all done through insurance. The bent frame would obviously be the most difficult part, but surely that could be pulled out?

Oh no, Mick! That makes my little ding of a few years back look insignificant - and that cost over £1,000 to repair against AL's £4500 estimate.
It may be too far for you to travel but Spitfire Garage, Woolston, Southampton may be able to help. Spitfire Garage
Surely, that will be an insurance job? What do your insurers say?
