Yes Colin, it�s a heavy awning but worth the effort for us having a large mud magnet of a hound.

But if you're pitching sideways, please, for politeness, make sure the rear lounge is a decent distance from your neighbour.

We had a case where we were pitched 'normally' with an awning attached and the grass divider between pitches was just 3ft.

An Eriba owner pitched sideways with the rear of their van just on the edge of the grass. They then parked their towcar at the towbar end of the van. Quite why they couldn't put the car next to us I couldn't figure. It was an uncomfortable couple of days having the rear windows peering into our awning from 3 or 4ft away.
