As some of you may already know, Chris Snoozer has been going through the mill for the last few weeks.

She and hubby Keith embarked on a once in a lifetime cruise from Southampton to South America calling in at various ports on route. While entering into Tenerife Keith recognised that Chris wasn't her normal self so they visited the ship's doctor who immediately referred them to the local hospital.

After all the scans and checks she was diagnosed as having a brain tumour. Therefore they had to stay on the island while the ship and most of their luggage sailed on. Chris was in hospital and Keith had to find hotel accommodation.

For the next couple of weeks, he and sometimes she, regularly kept in touch with a few members of this forum by way of video calls to update us of her progress.

Eventually and after a lot of arrangements, Chris and Keith were flown back to the UK last weekend, under the care and supervision of a UK medic and after going through the whole proceedure again at Bournemouth hospital the diagnosis was confirmed.

She is now at home and she and Keith are happy to spread the news. They are awaiting a call back to Southampton hospital for treatment in a couple of weeks.. Typically, Chris' comment when the diagnosis was confirmed?

Good News, can't stop crying, only got a brain tumour, nothing in the body.

I'm sure that all their friends and aquaintances on here will join us in wishing them all the best.

R and A x

Oh dear, that is distressing. I am happy to hear Chris has had the surgery and she is on the mend. I look forward to bumping into them at a future gathering. Wishing you a speedy recovery...
