Just wondered if this has happened to anyone. The last week or so it has been really cold at night and we have pulled the roof down before going to bed and we have been woken abruptly with the smoke alarm going off! After the first two times I put a new battery in but it still went off in the middle of the night. Now resorted to removing the battery until it gets a bit warmer at night. I should point out that no heating was left on. Pulling the roof down makes it lovely and cosy on a chilly evening/night.
