Not only did I manage to dent the front of the van but also caught the prongs of 3 pin plug, coming out of garage, just behind offside window left 3 nice little dents I have been searching peronalised gel stickers at Camerons suggestion to cover it but would prefer some kind of decal as you see on white boxes to put on both sides. I have searched with no luck and wondered if anyone had any recommendations

I'd say Gel sticker. I resorted to one for a small but annoying ding near the door. If you went for decal aren't they normally a thin viyl and the dent will show through as a shadow.

You can get some nice fake bullet holes (like Citroen put on 007 edition 2CVs after the release of For Your Eyes Only in 1981). I've got some on the back of my computer monitor at work...

What about these gel filled Eriba wheel centre stickers Mick? They come in a number of sizes and a choice of colour combos. I've used them on my wheel centres for years.
They stick like S**T to a blanket.
