Eriba Feeling motor mover

I am in a bit of a quandary
I had a Reich basic motor mover fitted on a eriba feeling which has an Alko M chassis - this was was fitted by an eriba specialist dealer. Unfortunately the mover clearance is dangerously low so I need to get it removed and a new one fitted. Having looked around it seems the choices are an Alko Mamut which is designed to work with the M chassis and does not have a cross bar, or a Reich pro which is low profile but would need to be fitted without the cross bar and would need to connect to each tyre independently.
Does anyone have any advice, experience in this area as I am not sure which way to go ?
Many thanks
Chris

Chris, further to your earlier post:- Motor mover and leisure battery needed
The most recent fit I can find is a member on the other forum having a PowerTouch fitted. This has given them a clearance of about 100mm, which seems to be as good as you [or I] can expect.
The set-up will look the same as the mover attached to this 442.

And here is a link for another on a 442. https://www.autotrader.co.uk/caravan-det...ion=at_caravans

I think if you look here https://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=rei...etail&FORM=VIRE you will see the Reich Pro 2.0 does not fit directly to the chassis in the same way as the Alko or Truma, but does in fact have a cross bar for mounting. Unless the fitter can get this bar to fit through the chassis I do not believe it will sit any lower.

The Reich website does not give much real information, but after a lot of digging around I have come up with this.
https://caravanmovershop.eu/Reich/produc...rice-with-f.php
It shows the cross bar used to aid mounting is the same as your Reich fitted. If you scroll down it also gives measurements and a minimum recommended ground clearance of 80 - 120mm.

We have the Alko Mamut mover on our Feeling 425. It has plenty of clearance and we are happy with it.

Paul, was your van a European import? When I made enquiries about a Mammut nobody in the UK was prepared to supply or fit, but they are the preffered option on the continent.

I bought my van second hand but I believe it was originally supplied by Adventure Leisure at Tebay in Cumbria.
