we are in Cheltenham. Sorry no , we would rather not pack it up. Finding a box big enough would be nigh on impossible. There are also not many delivery services that will pick up and deliver large parcels that are from private individuals.

It may not be as much trouble as you think to post/courier the awning and opens up your field of prospective buyers.
If you try Parcel Force over the internet then 25kg at 120 x 45 x30cm comes out at £15 collected from your door on a 48 hrs service. You tape together and bundle your awning bags up into one parcel with a black bin liner around each end. The delivery driver turns up with a label and that's the job done.
Last time I used this was for an Isabella Shadow from Lincoln to Devon. It took 24hrs and cost £8.

Maybe so, but i would be concerned that it would be damaged in transit if it was packed as you suggest,It would be our responsibility if it is damaged due to poor packing. The instructions say it should be well packed in a cardboard box. We sent an awning this way a few years ago and it cost a lot more than £15 .The awning we have is also heavier and longer than the quote you asked for
So at least for now we will stick with collection only
