Wanted information about Al-KO wheel lock for Troll GT 540

Hi All,

My insurance company, currently Adrian Flux, requires a AL-KO Wheel Lock to be fitted.

So I trotted over to AL-KO web site where they have a list of caravan manufacturers that this lock fits. Unfortunately it does not seem to include Eriba under the name of Eriba.

So my question is, can the AL-KO wheel lock be fitted to a 2020 Eriba GT540 and if so what version of the lock do I require?

Thank you.

The AL-KO system is not compatible with our Eribas. I would guide Adrian Flux [usually very helpful] to the website https://www.al-ko-secure.co.uk/will-it-fit/ and suggest they are making an unrealistic request. Suggest to them an alternative such as the excellent insurance approved Nemesis Ultra. https://www.fullstop-security.com/product/nemesis-ultra/
We have this along with a genuine Alko hitch lock https://www.alko-tech.com/en_gb/Vehicle-..._3163?type=3286

If you do not have any luck then try another provider. I'm currently with Grove & Dean [underwritten by Aviva] and have previously found Lifesure and Saga competitive. Ripe are also getting good reviews.
The tipping point on security measures appears to be around the £20K. Some providers request more than two security measures which would narrow the field. The above to the best of my knowledge require two and the caravan is kept in good order.
