Immediately fell in love with a used Troll recently! First a 380 Triton-18 catched our attention but since it soon was sold we are now focusing on an 542-18 we have found. Hopefully we can buy it. Fully equipped with mover, tent, awning, bikerack and a lot of Eriba options as well. A few small dents and scratches but nothing we can´t live with.
Have had big Polar/Kabe caravans in the past but since daughters now are 18 and 22 no desire for a big one.
Love the small width and the low height when on the road and in the garage. Also love the heigh/realistic load capacity on them.
Planning to tow with an electrial car BMW i4. And that is also the reason we want the small frontarea son we don´t have to charge as often.

Welcome to the forum Leo and hopefully your Eriba ownership. Somewhere on the forum is mention of a Troll owner who tows with a Hyundai Ionix 5. I think they said they realistically tow without range anxiety about 140 miles, 220+ km.

Hi Leo and welcome to Eribafolk Yes a bit of a size difference between a Kabe and an Eriba but you'll get far more touring from the Eriba. We do have a few people from Scandinavia on the forum. Which part of Sweden are you from?

We visited Sweden including Stockholm, with our Eriba, a few years ago. Splendid country and some nice camp sites.
We decided to drive to the other side of Stockholm and visit the Vasa Museum. Plenty of parking spaces but we couldn't decide how much we needed to pay the meter.
Very soon, a helpful young gentleman drove up in his Swedish registered car so we asked if he could speak English. Yes was the reply and it turned out he came from a town in Wales only about 20 kms from where we live.
