Gas bottle locker.

Hello again, our 1980 Puck didn’t have a gas locker, it has the frame and strap for one bottle. Are they a requirement or do they simply stop bottled being stolen? Question is really, can we tow with a bottle strapped to the front without the cover?

No reason why not, that is how most American vans are. It just looks nicer with a box at the front.

Thank you Colin, that’s reassuring. And yes, I had seen the prices of a replacement, hence the cheaper option to do without one!
