In a slightly different direction, I've joined the silly arse club and broken mine, another story.
Initially I thought about a piece of 3mm mirrored acrylic double sided taped over the top, but wasn't quite sure. I then saw the cheapest price I could find was going to be about £25 with most companies wanting nearer £35. This is the cheapest company :- https://www.theplasticman.co.uk/
Plan b came into effect. I sheeted up, put long sleeves, apron, goggles and gloves and got the old mirror out. Ikea is my saviour with a safety filmed glass one for £9. I'm going to fix it with double sided glazing tape.https://www.ikea.com/gb/en/p/laerbro-mirror-70444956/
