Hi, At it again. The gas box is looking scabby and needs respraying. I reckon the best way to do it is to remove it and take it indoors to respray. On looking at it it looks like the top of the gas box goes behind the metal strip under the window. Anyone out there taken the gas box off, and if so am I correct in assuming that it is trapped behind the metal strip? I have managed to get all the fixing screws down the sides out, which was a surprise. Any advice ?
