Dave (Eribanaut) Baker.
I’ve been asked by his dear wife Bunny, to give you the very sad news that Dave (Eribanaut) Baker passed away peacefully last Saturday morning with Bunny at his side, after finally losing his long battle with Prostate Cancer.
Dave and Bunny have been great friends to us and many others on this Forum and our Facebook page so this news, although expected, is hard to take in.
Dave and Bunny have had several years battling this dreadful illness and have been successful in winning over it on a number of occasions but finally, last year they were told it would only be a matter of time.
We were so inspired by the way they took the news and they spent almost every day getting on with life. They even took their Eriba for a two month trip to their special place in the South of Spain last September.
Our love and thoughts go with you Bunny.

Oh what sad news. I never had the pleasure of meeting Dave, but I followed his posts and always welcomed his views. He came across as having lived his life to the full, something I hope Bunny can find a way to do without her soulmate. My thoughts are with you Bunny.

Thank you Roger & Amanda for a lovely piece, and to Steve & Debbie for that picture, you may have noticed Dave was already in his wheelchair as he could not walk very far, he finally lost the use of his legs and became bedridden on Christmas eve.
And of course thanks to all of you,
I notice he is still logged on/on line. keeping an eye on you all.
There is gong to be no funeral. his primary wish was to go to university for research, well he has got his wish he is off to Nottingham.

Hi Bunny. If you use both Dave's and your log in equally, then he will still be able to look in on us from time to time. There must only ever be ONE Eribanaut.
