Well cheap & simple & reasonably rot proof. A piece of corrugated plastic cut to size along with the caravan skirt should hopefully keep most of the wind of of my awning & when it’s stored it keeps the sun of the tyre that faces itIMG_1790.jpeg - Bild entfernt (keine Rechte)

I played around with lots of ideas for doing this effectively and, above all, with light weight. I loved an official "Hymer" branded infill I found designed or Eribas, but cannot trace a supplier. I ended up using the awning draught blocker across the wheel with a short section of plastic double-sided awning rail that allows another piece of draught blocker to go vertical and be held in place by Kampa "Limpets". Lightweight and so effective that I haven't bothered to make anything more beautiful - yet! It is supposed to give you some mesh pockets to use, but there isn't really enough height under an Eriba outdoor table, so the limpets have to fit about half way up the plastic sheet. I haven't cut it down yet - I'll post a picture when I have it finalised.

There are lots of other ideas for that wind tunnel wheel arch. Here are some non-Eriba solutions I found when researching it.

A couple of ‘jigsaw’ style foam floor mats for us!
We use Excalibur wheel locks which can end up with the lock sticking out at any angle, so I cut out a circle of the correct radius and punched a hole in that to go around the lock - this holds the panel in place and the end-cap stops that falling/blowing off.

We use these year-round to protect the tyres.

Love this - this is what makes the Forum great with the different solutions to the same problem.
I put my solution on here a number of years ago and will try to locate a photo of it.
These all go for a grey tone to match the outside of the van and they look very nice. I think my brain must work differently and bizarrely I decided to make one out of plywood and stain it to match the wooden insides of our Troll. If I find a picture you will see it is quite a good match.....!
The 3 ply is flexible and it is a snug fit into the wheel arch area and the Kampa draft excluder thingy fits in front.
It works well and whilst it looks like a splendid piece of bespoke classic English carpentry it co-ordinates with nothing else on the outside of the van. Kath suggested a coat of grey gloss paint - I responded by suggesting that she wouldn't suggest that for a piece of classic Chippendale.........!
It still remains unresolved ...................
