Internet when away - UK and Europe - I think I'm having a late midlife crisis

Well I've done it. Our home broadband was up for renewal. We had a regular package and got about 15 mb as high speed is not available in rural Devon. I saw a 4G deal with 3 available, unlimited broadband for £11 a month of 6 months then full price £22 for 18 months.https://www.three.co.uk/broadband/home-broadband.
I'm getting 15-45 mb in the house and have logged laptop, tablet, mobiles and firestick into the router. The idea is we can take the router with us anywhere in the UK and access our unlimited broadband. Today I finished wiring a socket up in the van above the wardrobe [and broke the bathroom mirror] I plugged router in and waited. As I have an aluminium roof on my Eriba I was not sure how I'd get on. What a result, phone and tablet immediately locked on, so I tried TV with the Firestick and its perfect.
Next step is I've bought a TP Link router for when abroad. https://www.johnlewis.com/tp-link-m7350-...router/p3129652 The lovely Mrs eribaMotters said her monthly phone top up when we are in France costs her £30, even though most sites we visit now have a free wi-fi. I'm going to get a Smarty 15Gb data only sim for £9 which should do the job. https://smarty.co.uk/all-plans#data-only

At 62 1/2 years old I think I'm having a late midlife crisis as a couple of weeks ago I bought my first smart phone and a phone contract. I'm also now on whatsap and facebook, but I don't really like it.

I've just received a reminder from Smarty that they're about to shut down my account because I haven't renewed my monthly plan since last September. I'll start it back up in a few days, but at least I've saved a tenner a month for 6 months using their system.

I had nothing to do on this hot afternoon
