Hello forum! After a long search I bought a 1989 Familia last week. Here is a picture from when I picked it up from the previous owner. Before this I had never towed anything before let alone a caravan, but managed to get it home in one piece.

My family and I are looking forward to some great trips in it this summer and into the future! I'll no doubt be asking some questions as I get to know the caravan.

Hi Jonny and welcome to Eribafolk Good looking purchase. Really solidly built in those days. The Familia as it was named then is more recently the Familia 310, that is if it has no wc/washroom and a double bed at the back and a single bed at the front, both converting to dinettes.

Congratulations and welcome to the forum. Don't forget to get some towing mirrors so you are towing legally. The Milenco Aero are a good choice.

Welcome to the Forum Jonny, a nice looking van.

The first time I towed our Troll I had to pull out into four lane A road that merged into a three lane roundabout and I needed to get in the outside lane.................just thinking about it tonight gets my heart rate beating faster again. Needless to say I got lots of horns beeping at me but thankfully made it.

It is amazing how soon you get used to towing your Eriba and sometimes the problem can be forgetting that you are towing!
