Battery boost

Can please anybody tell me our 2015 eriba 540GT is on the front our house and I want to put some top up into the leisure battery from the hook up do I have to flick the 12v switch inside the van or does it charge automatically on my last whitebox caravan you had to flick on the master switch to charge the leisure batttery

I've always just plugged my 5 Eriba's into the mains. I do not recall ever having to throw a switch.

Never thrown a switch either.

I always throw the switch but just to check that I have got power by flicking a light on and off.
