Hi Phil

Sorry I can't tell you how to undo it but we had a similar problem with one of the touch lights in our Troll. The dealer looked at it in the service and fixed it, and when I asked what was wrong I was told that it was a problem with a loose wire in the fitting..................?

We have had no problems with it since and that was quite a few years ago

Check the sensor doesn't need degreasing/cleaning as it's above the kitchen.

The silver body of the light is screwed to the underside of the cabinet. You need to carefully insert the end of a short thin bladed knife in between the silver ring and the centre frosted “glass” circle. The disc will come out with an integral led unit. This unit is not replaceable. The lights are known to be problematic and as such have been replaced by many owners. If you open the top lockers you should be able to find the wires that supply the light, located under a piece of trim. The fixing is push fit bullet connectors. You may be fortunate and find the replacement unit has matching connectors.
Try e-bay for something you like the look of and get a few. If you try an Eriba dealer you may have to sell an organ or two.

There are two kinds of touch lights, surface mounted and flush mounted. You have to change the whole unit when they start to go. This may help.
