If you have a look at the attached you should get the correct pressure. I carry a copy in the van at all times. From memory I'm running at about 4.0 to 4.2 for my Feeling loaded to 1350kg.

Here is a calculator based on your actual tyre specications and running weight.

Wow Mat and Motters. That's huge difference. 42psi (3 bar) v 58psi (4bar).
Just for the record, I carry 3 bar in my 1000kg Troll with 13" wheels. Just remember too that the tyre pressures are part of the suspension on an Eriba. Don't go overboard with the inflation and be aware of your tyre's max pressure rating. It's displayed on there somewhere (normally on the inner wall).

Hi and thanks for the responses. Really time for an eyecheck! The tyres are 185/80 R14 C not 165 hence the problem. The correct pressure seems to be 50psi so a liitle more than the 44psi advised at point of sale.

Mat, the question of tyre pressures and tyre types on Eriba's will go on forever. The problem is several fold. Early vans were lightweight whilst newer vans are a lot heavier. Add in some vans can and do run happily on car tyres whilst others need commercial tyres and it can get really confusing.
My advice would be raise the pressure to about 50psi, get your loading correct with a noseweight of about 60kg and see how everything feels. Use this as your starting point to tweek things.
