Has anyone fitted a safefill (refillable) gas cylinder in their Eriba?
I like the concept, but how often would you need to refill it to make it cost effective.
Would it fit in the front locker?

not sure about the safefill,
long long ago when lechlade was the southern eriba dealer, there was a 540 with a gaslow connection on the fairing to both gas bottle mounted in the gas locker.
I remember discussing the issue or hassle of having to un pitch, hitch up and find a supplier to refill.
at least with calor most garages garden centres or caravan places can swap empty for a full one, without the need to move caravan
a refill can be between £16 - £26 dependant on supplier, not sure of pump gas prices

Auto gas is currently about 74p a litre, so it would cost you about £8.88 to fill a 6kg calor lite bottle (if you were allowed).
But a safefill bottle cost around £150, which brings you back to having to use a lot of gas.
