Just got back from Fri/Sat/Sun/Mon four cracking days at Scarborough Caravan site weather fantastic missed all the storms bar one which lasted a grand total of 30 minutes. Three photos included one of Bev over looking the bay and cliff top walk, one of me and my dad and one of P4 set up.
For those at Appletree who helped with the awning just to let you know we have cracked it and the penny has dropped. Awning went up fine without a cross word between us normal service is resumed.

Hi Steve and Bev .
Is that the Camping and Caravan Club site on top of the hill north of the town? Is so, we were there in 2011. Great site with a fish and chip shop in the middle and a really good Carvery/Pub through the side gate. We walked into Scarborough via the cliff top path just across the road.
Glad you had a great time and regarding the awning, it's good that you've cracked it but don't forget, you have put it up before successfully and on the occasion of the Eribafolk meet, there's nothing worse than struggling with an awning when you've just had a horrendous journey and there are a couple of dozen "know alls" staring at you..

Great to hear you had such a good time and I just luv the photos. Tomorrow we are taking the kids with us to Ffestiniog , as the lads are sleeping in the awning we are praying that we miss any thunderstorms or like last year the pump up bed could be floating. Roger, I expect Mark will be taking a bottle of something special to get him thru

Hiya Roger yes that is the site big but really well set up I would go back to this one no problem.
Hiya Ellen good luck with the weather but I am sure you will have a great time pass my regards onto Mark. There is always something exciting when you set off on holiday no matter what age you are. Have a good time and I hope doodah likes the new home.

Thanks Steve and hello to Bev and of course your little ones. Roger, there would be a glass or 2 of "grandads juice" for you both, a long way for a whisky tho.
