More on Reich

Many thanks to the 5 or 6 helpful strongmen who helped push our 'van into place on the orange dot at Stratford when the motor mover wouldn't work and we got stuck on the grass! Phoned AL when we got back who told us to contact Reich. This we did and a rep arrived today from Lincolnshire and checked it out. Apparently all that was wrong was a missing nut and bolt from the bar that goes across under the 'van. Unfortunately he was expecting it to be an electrical problem, didn't have quite the right part and so had to fit a temporary one. He has promised to sent the right bit by Tuesday. Hopefully it won't be too hard to get into place even if I do have to crawl under the 'van! These things are sent to try us!

Who fitted it? That's down to them surely.

It was fitted by whoever fits them for AL down in Poole. It's under warranty and Reich obviously sent their nearest rep. to us here in Suffolk. If the new nut and bolt are easy to fit when it arrives we'll do it - if not then we'll have to get the Reich rep. back again. (It's an amazingly small nut and bolt for the job it seems to do! It must have fallen out because the mover worked perfectly on the 'van's first outing two weeks before Stratford).
