Yes. He went where old sailors go on Sunday 17th. He had been ill for several weeks with liver and kidney problems. He had his first 3 course meal in a long time, sister in law went to make him a cup of tea and when she returned he had gone.
He was home where he wanted to be and was lucid and pain free until the end.
Thats all you can hope for really.
