This plant hails from Africa

It is pollinated by flies and as such does its best to imitate rotting meat to attract them

It works

However it tends to fill the conservatory with big flies and as I was working outside today I took it outside to get rid of the flies and the smell

Next doors cat was most bemused by the smell and her failure to find any food

I am in the process of replacing my old fence (seen better days)

And have been a few days painting and fixing new panels as and when my shoulder injury will let me

Along with my little helper (when she stops looking for dead meat)

When visiting a friends beach hut on Friday. we went to call on some other friends with a hut along the beach for a cup of tea and piece of cake. The chap was complaining about a weird pong that was drifting about. Carole and I could occasionally get a whiff. As we said cheerio to them on Saturday evening, he confessed that their butane had been on since Thursday evening UNLIT and they had slept in the hut for two nights.

Made a gate and fitted it after 3 coats of preservative.

Left room under it for my little helper to get in
spent the day painting the shed

My little helpers mother (next door neighbour) returned today after a week away and brought me some liquid pain killer for looking after her

Meanwhile my little helper has "adopted me" and spent more time in my house yesterday than I did

6 pm today and a face is staring at me through the conservatory door so I open it and ...........hello dad

by heck looks just like mischief
is helper 3 foot 3inches long once stretched out?

our cats loved the eriba experience, and walked on lead on public footpaths well until the woofs arrived, just some info incase you do get long term adopted.

I had to put her out at midnight the other night so I could go to bed....no cat-flap in my door, she seems to spend more time here than at home
