Thanks all, family round any mintue now and then they go of and do their weekend stuff, while Carole and I have a sweep through and dinner for 6 is prepared with a bottle or two of something.
Last night at a small theatre in Winchester with 8 hash pals at a comedy night, which was good. Unknown to us all but the 3 guys, one girl and the compere were all very funny, then a chinese meal afterwards and the last bus home when it poured down so we got soaked just from the bus stop to home.

Derek!
Many Happy Returns.

I'm just catching up on 6 weeks of forum posts and have just read about the leg!
What bad luck.
I hope Markeriba's post about the graft is a good omen.

Thanks Tony and Frances, hope you had a great time and you have lots to catch up on. Looking forward to reading your blog or whatever.
MarkEriba's post was great to read and I hope for the best.
Carole did a superb meal for us last night, with two couples of old friends who both know their food and wine so she was on edge and didn't need to be, she has hosted stuff like that for them for years. It was excellent and we have just finished washing up as we have very old attractive china of my dear old mum's which can't be dishwahered.
Off to hash soon and no doubt will get a free birthday beer and a song whcih reads "Hashy birthday etc etc"
