Ours looks very much like this. The AL salesman said it was just the same as the Protec.

What I'm interested in here, though - and maybe I should start a new thread for the question - is is it correct to close the top while the canvas "bellows" is wet? I've dried it out following the clean-up prior to covering, so I'm fairly confident I've done the best I can. But what if I need to close it while still wet, following rainfall, in readiness for moving to another site, or, if the weather is really bad, for going home?

The canvas will get wet anyway if it's raining and your travelling😯 the rubber strip at the bottom of the pop top (upper roof) is not a weather seal, it is to stop damage between the upper roof (pop top) and lower roof. If you check it with a ladder you will find places where it actually does'nt seal at all!

The rubber strip is sold as weather strip or seal in the automotive trade but that is not it's primary reason on an Eriba.

Yupp!! Me too. .....I do put a couple on layers of bubblewrap over the ends though. (bit windy here, on occasions)
Would'nt want rub holes to appear. Ian.
