Thnks Julie, getting the pastels out today to try colour and freesome, darent get the oils out in case I spell them, ver likely.

Thanks Martin and Debbie, yes Randa we met on that site and were nearly blown off at one point with the tramontana locl breeze.

Yes, it is a great site Randa. We spend some time there most years as we cross from our place in France through to Spain. And, as Derek says, we met up there a couple of years ago. We were there again this year in fabulous weather but we had one day when the 'ol Tramontana blew hard. We were on quite an exposed pitch (with wide mediterranean views). I happened to stay on the site that day but our neighbours, a German couple in an Eriba, and a Norwegian guy with his daughter in a tent, both went cycling in the mountains. I was kept busy keeping the German Eriba's awning and the Norwegian tent on the ground! I ran out of my supply of extra pegs and guys. I had taken my own awning down.

When we arrived there in April it was also blowing a bit so we asked for a sheltered emplacement. We were tucked away on the leeward side, just below the toilet block.
On every occasion we walked the 50 yards up the hill to the loo, we were almost blown off our feet.
Great views of the mountains.

This is my current physio, working in pastels on an acrylic hunting scene I hade nearly finished 2 weeks ago,
