yes that's us, was still wondering if I had done the right thing when I looked at the length of the rig. fears were allayed after one hour of the journey home!

Reckon you'll be on the next AL newsletter. We were on May and August! The VW/Eriba combo is getting hugely popular....and for good reason!

your rig is very nice (saw the pictures on Facebook).

I'm thinking I don't need the pop-top any more and should go for a straight T5 Day van. But I don't think I will have the heart to change it .... ever, only had it a year and its already an old (but expensive) friend!

We still use the T5 on its own for the odd one/two nighter for just us. Occasionally a child (they are now all adult) meets up with us when with the Eriba, as our daughter did last summer for 3 weeks in Italy and our elder son for a week in Switzerland, so it means they have their accommodation and we have ours with a bit of space inbetween.... and we could also do a partner too and still had a double bed to spare.....I guess we'll ultimately get grandchildren, although I don't like to presume!!

Each to their own of course but I think our T5 will be with us for a while to come.

Well we had some great days away and my idea was for single nights it would be just the van, but we are the grandparent stage and are just trying to work out how best to do it. Needless to say the first thing they said when they saw the Eriba on the drive was "when an you going to take us away??"
