The main job today as usual decorate the house ready for Christmas I do that every birthday working or not

Another Job today .....................Blackberry gin ..............Fill a kilner jar 1\2 full with frozen blackberries add about 4 oz sugar, top up with gin to within 1\2 inch of the top and fit the lid .......................shake well daily for about 2 weeks then strain into bottles (tight people might squeeze the liquid from the berries too) 
Add more sugar if needed to suit your taste ............if done now can be bottled for Christmas

Having a spot of bother replying to this topic .............probably too much but I would like to thank those who have sent me good wishes it's been a strange year and at times not the best health wise still I made it this far .............so who knows I might live forever after all 
Where I used to work the retiring age could be 63 so the plan was to retire today if ill health had not intervened ............been retired 4 1\2 years now so I finally caught up with my plans ........Pensioners dinner tomorrow so on my best behaviour and lots of old friends to see, should be interesting
