As we mentioned elsewhere on the forum, we've just received our 2015 ACSI package containing two books packed full of good European camp sites. However, do others that use ACSI find it very frustrating that although the majority of the camp sites listed appear each year, the reference number for them changes, year after year?
OK, I realise that new and replacement camp sites have to be added but there must be an easier way of doing things.
I presume that like us, many ACSI users take time out towards the end of each year to look up prospective camp sites for the following year using the current year's books and website. It then takes a lot of time and research to update the chosen camp sites with next year's numbers. The piddly map location book they give you is not that helpful although if you forget to take it with you on your trip, which is highly likely, then you're well and truly st**fed
Also, recently, ACSI (Camping Cards) have seen fit to alter the format on their website and in my opinion, the new format is so difficult to negotiate. The old layout was easy so I can't understand why they decided to modify it. Currently, the website is closed so they are probably bringing it up to date with next year's listings.
