C'mon matie. Just because you're an hour ahead of us. We've still got a little time left yet.

What is it about Brians. Are they always miserable? Sorry Bryn (Brian), Bigloue (Brian) and of course the one and only Aaron (God am I a Grumpy Brian) Calder, Couldn't resist that one.

Dinde (turkey) is pretty common here in France. Don't much like it myself. However, I am quite sad today as Brigitte Bardot (boy-hood icon) has come out against force-feeding of geese which would mean an end to foie-gras......Anyhow it's Scottish salmon and a French special (don't ask) being prepared by my better half today, along with a bottle of Bourgogne's finest (Gevrey-Chambertin).

Not a white Christmas here either - was out for a walk earlier under a blue sky with good sunshine. It's what we came to France for.

Best wishes to everyone and a Guid New Year.

David

It's been a lovely day here too, weather and company together. Had our turkey, an ALDI special and good too, courtesy of daughter and her partner. Smashing laught and party with the little'uns and we got our taxi home.
