I sometimes pondered fitting our Khyam Motordome Awning (but it's really a tent) to the 'front' of our Fiamma wind-out sun canopy on our Adria motorhome , but never tried it. Trouble is you'd need a pitch about 8.5m wide to accomodate it all.

I think I'm correct in saying that the Omnistor cartridge fits just above the awning rail Linda, similar to the one in the photograph below (Andrew's Puck L)

Therefore in my opinion (and I may be wrong) a conventional awning like a Soplair or Walker, would not fit as they have a vertical triangle of canvas and poles, above the awning rail.
In that case, you'd need to be looking at a "drive away" type awning such as Khyam Motordome g8p418-Khyam-Motordome-Classic.html or similar.
However, I think you can get sides and a front for the Omnistor. Come on you Omnistor experts, help me out here.

the fabric came from http://www.primrose-awnings.co.uk
The machine work came from Sheila

Good job, well done!
Like the fabric. It would make nice window shades.

We've made our own 'Sun Shade' in the past -couldn't find such super material as this though

What I think is important, as you've done, is to use a central pole and it appears, a front cross pole even on a short awning :) keeps it taught and above to top of the open door.
