Hi and thanks for accepting us to the forum.

We currently have an Eriba Troll 540GT which we bought last August so only managed two weekends away. We originally became Eriba owners back in the 1990's - having bought an Eriba Puck very cheaply from my wifes late Uncle who had to give up driving. With only a small car and 1 small Son at the time it was ideal however as the family grew we sold a few years later in favour of a standard type caravan.

A few years have passed, and a number of bigger models have come and gone as the children grew and decided not to come away with the parents. We thought we had finished caravanning back in 2012 when we sold the last van.....and immediately regretted it! My wife had always enjoyed the Eriba, and as if by fate we came across the Troll being sold fairly locally - we managed to secure the sale the day the owner posted an add on Gumtree.

We cannot wait to start getting away again this year. We currently have a Renault Scenic 1.5 dci and although the Whattowcar website stated towing should be ok, the Caravan Club had 2 advisories and so I have been reluctant to venture out with anything other than basic equipment for a weekend away. We have a fortnight booked in France already and a week in Yorkshire filling me with nervousness. So, to add to the expense we are now awaiting delivery of a VW Touran 2l diesel which weight and power wise will be more sensible and I will now be itching to get away!

Our Daughter who is 13 was always sad when the caravan was sold so I now have two happy ladies in my life to go away with. In fact the eldest Son (20) mentioned he'd quite like to come away again(!) Typical once you downsize but thinks its more the lure of a foreign country.

We like seeing the photos of guests holiday locations on the FB pages.

Have a great year of touring!
Graeme and Sally

Hi Graeme and Sally and welcome to Eribafolk from a fellow Troll/Touran owner.
It's been a long, long time since last August so we can well understand your desperation to get away with her. It'll soon be spring.

Hello! Nice to see someone from Oxfordshire. Where are you based? I live in Banbury. I am new to this forum ....ideally i need to spend a bit more time on it to suss things out properly, but work tends to call a bit too often. Still, i will get there! I am still working out facebook, so i mustn't expect too much of myself. I hope your caravaning goes well, sounds like it is all coming together!
All the best.
