Couldn't resist the Triton we saw at the NEC, so our lovely 230GT is now for sale!

All the standard 230GT features, plus:

Uprated chassis - 850kg
Upgraded 12v power supply (10A PSU/charger - will work with/without battery)
Fitted Omnistor windout awning - awning rail can still be used
Rear cycle carrier
Auto changeover gas regulator
4 x UK mains sockets
All interior lights fitted with LED bulbs
Additional LED uplighter strips, plus LED downlighters at front
Fire extinguisher and smoke alarm
All tyres changed in Feb. 2013, spare is unused
S3004 stabiliser hitch and ALKO hitchlock

The wardrobe is currently shelved out but shelves will be removed if not required and rail replaced.
We added the blue curtains but original (orange!) curtains and nets will be included, along with the original large table.

Will also include a Movelite Midi awning and fixing kit (only used twice), a Thetford Porta Potti (in cupboard) and a folding step.

Garage stored and located near Nottingham. £11,700 ono.

We have only advertised on the forums so far as we wanted to give fellow enthusiasts first chance. Post-eclipse price is now £11,500 and it will be advertised more widely this weekend. We have a very good trade-in deal in reserve but would prefer to sell privately than see it on the market later this year for several thousand pounds more!

Still for sale, price now £11,300 ono, which is only a little more than we've been offered as trade-in without any extras.

Our new 430 has arrived in the UK two weeks before we thought it was due to be assembled, how's that for German efficiency! So the 230GT will be going as trade-in next week when we collect the Triton. We would much rather have sold privately to an enthusiast but having tried the CC, ebay, preloved and UK Campsites with no luck, we can only assume it was overpriced as a private sale... which also means that we must have a really good trade-in offer from AL!
So, hey ho, looking forward to our new Eriba!

Enjoy your new Triton 430 ............I really like mine

So, we now have a beautiful new 430 Triton, have stayed 5 nights near Dorchester and not a single problem!
Now back home and our old 230 GT is in prep at AL with a price tag of £13,999... as we predicted. Sorry no one picked up a bargain as a private sale but we still benefitted from a good trade-in from AL - thanks Steve.
It's really odd how you evolve places for everything in one caravan and then have to start all over again when you buy a new one. But we'll get there.
Having a loo onboard and space to drink tea without dismantling the bed is a huge plus!

That was my main reason for upgrading to a 430 too...............I have now started leaving the big rear table at home as I never use it and it just gets in the way.

We have now gone one step further and bought a gel mattress (so it bends round the curve) and we leave the bed made-up all the time. The dinette still gives us somewhere to sit and of course the awning is a great help.
