Pre-paid Credit Cards

Anyone use them ?

We had a post office card back in 2009 and used Nationwide Debit card which allowed free transactions until a few years ago

There is one called ICE which is free to use and gives 1% cashback on purchases

As we spend a lot of time out of the UK, I use a Halifax clarity card which has no foreign exchange charges and if you preload it with cash, no fees for withdrawals.

As recommended by Money Saving Expert.

We have the Halifax card but did not realise you can preload it with cash. Good to know. thanks
