Hi help/ advice needed please, our 1985 Puck 'Ruby' has a 3 way fridge Electrolux RM 180H, working good on mains, on gas the pilot lights but the fridge does not cool 😩, has anyone got or knows where we can obtain manual from. thanks in advance

Yes, turned to max, I presume the seal is ok as it got very cold on mains power.

the fridge could be similar to the dometic rm 122 or the rm123

with fridges they sometimes need removing to get to the problem area, might be an idea to call a caravan gas person, as a belt and braces approach, we don't want to loose you so soon
if you say roughly not exactly what area hopefully someone can recommend someone

We find unless the van is really level both ways the fridge won't light up especially with gas, but at least you got it sparking on, which we couldn't.
Perfect on the level.

Jane there can be a problem with older vans where spiders and similar insects find their way into the burner to hibernate for the winter........might be worth cleaning out the burner..............if it works on mains then the heat exchanger is functioning ok so may be a burner problem.

These fridges need to be as level as possible,
I just had a similar query 'cause it works fine
on gas when it is on their level drive!
