Wheel bolt alignment

I recently had to remove a wheel on my Troll. It was not easy to put the wheel back on the van because I had to align the first bolt with a hole in the hub. I'm thinking of buying an alignment tool, does anyone know the size of the bolts (m12 x 1.5 thread ?)

you should have some different wheel bolts with the eriba in the paperwork pack? or tool kit,?
the wheels on axle are alloy and use one length of bolt and the spare wheel is metal and needs the other one in the pack
point being I don't know the size but take the spare wheel bolt with you

for info there is two different torque settings as well, regarding which wheel fitted

edit

where are my manners tut tut

Frank, I remove and refit caravan wheels on an almost daily basis and don't use any fancy alignment tool.
Does such a thing exist?
And how do you align the alignment tool?

Anyway, this is the method I employ which seems to work without too much grunting and cussing:

First, have a wheel bolt inserted into a socket & extension bar ready at hand to screw into the wheel & drum.
Rotate the drum so that one of the bolt holes is aligned at 3 o'clock and apply the handbrake.
Rest the wheel on the hub cap and rotate until one of the bolt holes is at 3 o'clock.
You'll now be able to locate and screw the wheel bolt into the aligned hole.
Lift the wheel to align an opposite hole and insert your second bolt.
Fit the remaining bolts.

Don't forget to tighten the bolts in the correct sequence: 1-3-5-2-4.

There are tools which are like a straight narrow rod with a thread at one end . Screw the rod into the hub and slide on the wheel which now wobbles around the tool but it t is easy to line up the wheel now with the hub. Get 2 wheel bolts fitted then unscrew the tool before fitting the rest of the bolts. Peugeot cars used to come with them

That sounds like a handy tool to have........
Not that my wheels come off that often.
