Here's a sketch of Oscar, Mrs Pete's mum and dad's dog. It's the only one I can find, unfortunately.

You'll have to take my word for it when I say it's a dead ringer. It was done thirty-odd years ago, so it's also a dead dog.

I bear it no malice, mind, even though the little sod bit me twice without any provocation. I can still see the undiluted hatred in its eye.

It wasn't a particularly relaxing dog to be around.
