Discovered............or should that be re-Discovered the rear storage space in the Triton today, never used it before (although it had an awning in there when it was delivered.)

I'm talking about the narrow seat bit below the rear window.

Being longer than any other storage space in the van it can be useful for things like a windbreak and the roof pole I bought for the caravanstore sunshade.

I mention it as it occurred to me that some new owners may not even be aware that there is a storage space under that bit of seating.
The only consideration I would mention would be the effect on the nose weight of putting too much heavy stuff in there.

For me it will probably mean not having to fold down a seat in the car .......and less to put in the car.

What are you two like? I've been carrying my awning pole bag in there for the past four years.

I don't think there's any need to worry about the weight, Nev. A rear mounted cycle carrier will impose a far greater load and they are quite common.

We use ours for our memory foam mattress topper. It fits perfectly.
