Hello Eribafolk,

After considering our options we think a Puck might be the right caravan for us so thought we would join your forum to pick up some help and advise.

We would love to see a Puck in real life to get an idea of the size inside and out and see if it really is the right idea for us. We haven't seen any locally as yet.

If anyone know of any Pucks around the Forest of Dean area that we might be able to see please let us know.

Many Thanks. Lol and Em

Hello and

There are some layouts in the gallery with sizes............not all are listed as production has been running for around 50 years and layouts change from time to time however overall sizes don't change very much

Mr & Mrs Morphy (Bev & Steve)

We had a puck really enjoyed it I would still have had it but Bev wanted to go bigger so we now have a troll. We moved up from tents so the puck was luxury but the troll is like a 5 star hotel.
Morphy good luck in your search.

We don't live anywhere near the FoD so can't help with your Puck viewing but can say that having owned our little Puck since beginning May this year we've been away in her 4 times already and have loved every minute! You won't regret getting a Puck I promise!!!

Nice to have you aboard from Derek and Carole. We went to ALin Poole to buy a Familiar as it had a washroom and was our first caravan, having graduated from campervans. We ended up with the Puck L having called in at an Eriba Owners Club rally on the way there. The members there showed us round, then the owner of AL talked us out of a Familiar so here we are.
No where near you but sure you will get help in here.

Thanks everyone for your kind welcome.

Having measured the gates and drive we think a small and narrow van is the best thing for us.

We will keep our eyes open for any that appear near by.

Thanks again, Lol and Em

Hi everyone,

Good news - we went to look at a puck locally and we really loved it, it is just what we are looking for. We were amazed at how neat at tidy everything can be stored away. Even my Dad was impressed and that isn't easy to do !

Hopefully we are going to look at one for sale this weekend so we will keep you posted.

I am loving the photo boards! Especially the interior designs.

Good luck Em. Don't let your heart rule when you look at the Puck this weekend.
Give it a good going over and give the underneath a bit of a prod. Treat it as though you're buying a (new) second hand car.
I know it sounds silly but when you look inside, you can actually smell a good Eriba.

Funny you say that, my Dad was sniffing about in the one we looked at and was talking about the 'newness' of it.

He is coming with us and is very good with anything mechanical so will hopefully stop us getting carried away.

Is it the underneath that would show the most obvious problems? Is this usually the first part to show any issues?

If you look at this Eriba skeleton Em g7p1236-Classy-Chassis.html#viewport, the most susceptible place for corrosion is around the bottom perimeter of the van. It's a 1" x 1" box section. That's the first place to prod.
Also open all the windows and check out the gaskets. As you Dad says, if it smells new it's probably dry.
